Job Description

Working as part of our operations team in our Chester office, the Business Operations Officer’s main priorities will be to carry out daily transaction monitoring checks escalating with the compliance team, when necessary, complaint handling ensuring service level agreements are measured and adhered to, identifying and mitigating root causes. Other activities will include assisting the lending and savings team with new projects and campaigns, liaising between the operations teams and IT in raising change requests to support and develop system functionality and follow through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Skills and Experience needed (essential or preferred) :-

Essential

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience in the payments sector or transaction monitoring
  • Experience in complaint handling
  • Previous experience in a financial services environment
  • Reliable, honest and can contribute to create a thriving culture
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies within the financial services sector
  • Technical skills, able to use a variety of systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment where change is embraced but attention to detail is required

Desirable

  • Experience in user acceptance testing

  • Experience working on projects

  • Agricultural experience

Job Description: 

The Asset Finance Operations Manager will report to the Head of Operations whilst working closely with the Head of Asset Finance to implement and grow the asset finance business strategy. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Asset Finance Team, to deliver a first-class service to both customers and brokers. You will be responsible for driving process improvements which support excellent customer service and deliver efficiencies which create a smooth customer and broker journey. Robust performance measures will ensure customer satisfaction is of the highest standard.

It is crucial that the Asset Finance Operations Manager has a proven track record in asset finance demonstrating the ability to deliver results to a high standard within a changing and fast paced environment.

Skills and Experience needed (essential or preferred) :-

  • Three years of operational management experience in asset finance
  • Experience in managing, developing, and motivating a team to deliver results
  • Good understanding of both regulated and non-regulated hire purchase
  • Good understanding of the customer terms and conditions and practical processes to manage an asset through the finance life cycle
  • Ability to knowledge share and develop colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description: 

The ideal candidate will help & support the Regulated Brokers and provide a hands on advice and support and where required. You will provide formal training support to the Regulated Mortgage and Protection team and will be responsible for completing case observations and role plays as necessary with newly qualified Advisers pre-CAS status

You will make recommendations to the Compliance Committee with full supporting evidence provided for the granting of CAS status to newly qualified Advisers and carry out case file checks on Regulated Mortgage and Protection Insurance files in accordance with the Company declared schedule of case file checking.

Provide all necessary reports and Management Information regarding file checks to the Compliance Committee

Skills and Experience needed (essential or preferred) :-

  • CMAP qualified
  • Experience of conducting regulated mortgage File checks
  • Excellent communication skills – maintaining a high level of professional conduct with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
