SMART WORKS Shortlisted for DEUTSCHE BANK’s UK Charity of the Year
Campbell & Fletcher Recruitment have been proud supporters for Smart Works, a charity that exists to empower all women who need help getting back into work – our MD Tracy Fletcher is actually a volunteer and co-chair of Smart Works Leeds operation. So we were so proud to see the announcement yesterday that they had been shortlisted for Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year, voted for by the employees of the bank.
“This is an incredible opportunity for the Charity,” commented Tracy, “It will help us make a huge impact in transforming the lives of even more women right across the UK”
Smart Works helps unemployed women back into the workplace by dressing and coaching unemployed women for their job interview, harnessing the power of high-quality clothing and one-to-one coaching to reconnect women with their potential. Smart Works has an amazing success rate of helping 69% of women securing a job within a month.
If Smart Works have a strategy in place to:
- Double the number of women they help
- Expand from 11 to 14 centres
- Invest in digital transformation to increase efficiency and capacity
- Create systemic change, removing barriers to employment
