Job Description

Working as part of our operations team in our Chester office, the Business Operations Officer’s main priorities will be to carry out daily transaction monitoring checks escalating with the compliance team, when necessary, complaint handling ensuring service level agreements are measured and adhered to, identifying and mitigating root causes. Other activities will include assisting the lending and savings team with new projects and campaigns, liaising between the operations teams and IT in raising change requests to support and develop system functionality and follow through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Skills and Experience needed (essential or preferred) :-


  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience in the payments sector or transaction monitoring
  • Experience in complaint handling
  • Previous experience in a financial services environment
  • Reliable, honest and can contribute to create a thriving culture
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies within the financial services sector
  • Technical skills, able to use a variety of systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment where change is embraced but attention to detail is required


  • Experience in user acceptance testing

  • Experience working on projects

  • Agricultural experience

  • Fraud officer experience
