We are currently looking to speak with an experienced and ambitious Business Developer on behalf of our client to join their brand new, North-based sales team. In this role, you will be working closely with the External Business Development Manager to deliver a sales plan. You will play an integral role in growing the brand of the business in the North of England and supporting key sales activities. You will do this via building relationships with relevant companies and intermediaries, booking appointments for the External Business Development Manager, arranging and attending events and other ad-hoc activities.

In return, you will be working closely with a highly experienced External Business Development Manager who will act as a trainer and mentor to develop your career in the direction you want it to go. Alongside a generous salary, you will also earn quarterly bonuses dependent on your performance. Moreover, there is financial support available to support you in the acquisition of relevant qualifications.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have demonstrable B2B sales experience
  • Possess a confident and professional telephone manner
  • Be ambitious and have a genuine drive to succeed
  • Be a competent user of MS Excel
  • Have a background in financial services (preferable, not essential)
  • Be willing to learn and complete relevant qualifications for the role

Job Description: 

The role holder is responsible for building and maintaining existing introducer relationships whilst developing new business opportunities for their affinity partners. The main duties are to proactively engage with key introducers, schedule regular meetings and check ins, attend industry and networking events and work directly with the introducer on a regular basis. This includes, acting as a point of contact for all introducer/marketing activities, arranging regular review meetings and analysing critical performance.

Skills and Experience needed (essential or preferred) :-

  • Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Needs to have an in-depth knowledge of the mortgage and protection advice marketplace:

The business is SRA regulated and so has the ability to work as the client’s sole professional advisor (in both CF and legal), having the ability to support throughout the M & A journey.

 
Job Description: 

The role holder will be responsible for originating new CF deals through an established network. You will be lead advisor on client engagements, and responsible for leading the team to deal completion.
