Senior Lending Manager
Permanent
£70,000 – £75,000
Home-based but must be based South England
A highly ethical bank are looking to add a Senior Lending Manager to their team of dedicated and experienced bankers. This is a brand new position, the need has arisen to add this person to the team due to the bank’s growth and influx of business.
As a Senior Lending Manager, you will be the principle deal writer in the bank and so your credit skills must be extremely strong. In addition, you will play a part in developing new business for the bank through your own network, internal bank channels and through the attendance of networking and other industry related events.
In addition, your customer-centric nature will enable you to manage the relationships of a varied portfolio of clients that are already with the bank. Using your solutions-led approach, you will be proactive in the management of your portfolio to identify where else you may be able to assist with lending or savings facilities.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Come from a similar role, perhaps in a bank where you have dealt with commercial lending
Have expert credit skills to be able to triage new loans for viability
Have a strong understanding, knowledge and appreciation of the charitable, non-profit and social enterprise sector
Have previous experience of being proactive in developing new business
Have an enthusiasm to attend networking events
