Job Title: Lending Operations Officer

Location: Manchester, Lancashire

Salary: Competitive Salary

Fantastic opportunity for Lending Operations Officer who will manage loan applications from inception through to redemption. They will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. The role entails providing administration support to the teams and offers great potential for motivated and driven individuals to enter the Specialist Finance sector.
 

You will provide support and develop and maintain key business introducer relationships through outstanding relationship management. Managing a pipeline of lending applications from enquiry through to redemption and learn to interpret and evaluate lending applications by assessing the credit risk framework and business appetite.  You will input data and manage applications via the system ensuring information is accurate and complete and undertake case administration, instructions, and searches to present to Underwriting and Portfolio Management teams.

Full training will be provided but an eagerness to learn is a must. Knowledge of the Real Estate Lending market is a plus but is not essential. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills and a willingness to learn. This is a great career opportunity for someone with drive an enthusiasm.

Our client is a fintech lending platform providing real estate construction loans. They are looking to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant or Qualified by Experience Management Accountant to join the team.

Job Description:

This role will report to the Director to support the business to produce and present timely and accurate financial information.

This will be a varied role with duties to include: –

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Monthly reconciliation
  • Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations
  • Finance and Treasury function for the business
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Commercial sales analysis and reporting
  • Management of business KPIs / book-keeping
  • Any project work
  • Payroll and preparing financial accounts for the company and maintenance of its compliance.
  • Producing accurate balance and statement data for borrowers.
  • Producing financial data for the company’s stakeholders.
  • Preparation and presenting monthly management packs for the Director

Skills and experience needed (essential or preferred):

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and being able to produce forecasting models
  • Ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to present strongly to all stakeholders
